RPMS Mission Statement & core values

RPMS Mission

The Roselle Park Middle School’s mission is to provide a well-rounded, challenging education in a safe and caring environment.  It is our goal to develop a love of learning in our students. We hope to instill this in our students now, but also have it carry into college or a career.  To accomplish this, we are committed to working in unison with the teachers, students, parents and community.

Core Values

It is our goal to develop moral character by becoming aware of the following:

  • Respect of others and their property, as well as self-respect
  • A sense of responsibility for their classmates, teachers, family and community
  • Continually striving to become a better student and person
  • Always influence others in a positive way
  • Teachers are the model for the above core values and should always show behavior that promotes a high level of character

Welcome to Roselle Park Middle School

A message from the middle school PTA -

There will be a pretzel sale happening this Friday after school on the blacktop for Group B students.  Pretzels will be $1.   We will also be having a sale for Group A on Tuesday as well.  Please remember that students will be asked to maintain required social distance and not congregate.

Parent Information Meeting Powerpoint

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Middle School forms and documents are ready to be completed in Genesis.  All parents/guardians will need to complete in Genesis the following (make sure you complete for each child in the district)-

                Forms –

                   Medical Information Verification
Military Connections
Contact Form Update
Internet Access Availability

              Documents-

                    Internet and Device Acceptable Use
District Policies
*Photo Release
Middle School Handbook
MS COVID

*if you are objecting to the photo release document you must hand in the objection form to your child’s school.

**  if Genesis is reporting that you need to fill out the forms/documents after you have already done so please re-submit.  Apparently there was a glitch that has since been taken care of.  Our apologies.for the extra work.

All students must complete 3 documents in Genesis – Internet and Device Acceptable Use, Middle School Handbook and MS COVID.  Sixth grade students will have to wait until they receive their laptops and sign in at the middle school.  Only when both parents/guardians and students have completed all necessary forms and documents will both parents/guardians and students have full access to Genesis.  Dates for the distribution of 6th grade laptops will be emailed as well as plans for distribution of 7th and 8th grade yearbooks, spring pictures and Pura Vida bracelets.

The district will be offering insurance for the devices at $50 for the year.  All parents/guardians are encouraged to take the insurance policy to avoid paying for parts, shipping and labor of computer repairs (see Internet and Device Acceptable Use).  You can also mail in a check or money order ($50.00 made out to Roselle Park BOE) to the middle school or drop off your insurance payment (no cash) in the drop box at front of school.
