A SAFETY REMINDER FROM Ms. Gois:  A reminder that Middle School students should only be dropped off at the front of the building.

The parking lot is for staff parking and should not be used as a drop-off or pick up area. There has been an increase in the amount of cars stopping in the middle of Grant Avenue and Clay Avenue and letting children out of their vehicles.

Please refrain from doing so. This is done for the safety of all and with the approval from the Roselle Park Police and our Superintendent.

School Rule Reminders:

-Period -0- begins at 7:15am. No students are allowed in the building without an appointment with their scheduled teacher.

-Breakfast begins at 7:30am-students should report immediately to the cafeteria.

-Students should not be in the building unsupervised before doors open @ 7:55am.

-Air Pods (including all other types of ear devices) & cell phones are prohibited from being used during the school day. All devices are to be kept in the student’s locker. Confiscated items will be sent to the main office to be picked up at the end of the day either by the student or a guardian, to be determined by an administrator.

Technology Updates:

1)      We are experiencing and extremely high rate of cracked laptop screens.  This problem is currently being addressed for next year.  Please be aware that if your child breaks their laptop screen for the second time, he/she will not be given a loaner.  Our teachers are aware of the problem and will provide students the opportunity to complete their assignments with pen and paper.

2)      In order to get a laptop loaner, students must have a case.  If they do not have a case, they will have restricted use of their laptop until they bring a case. The computer will be stored in the office and will only be available to the student when an academic need arises in class.
